Bluebell Woods

This year I happened to be in England exactly at the right time for the blooming bluebells. I have long had the idea to film this incredible natural beauty. I was incredibly happy and lucky to see them densely covering the forest floor all around the nearby forest in Hertfodshire. I spent a few days getting up early in the morning before sunrise, driving to the place and walking around the woods for almost the whole day, filming different scenes, breathing the faint fragrance of these delicate flowers and recording the spring songs of the birds there. After a few days of carrying the heavy photographic rucksack all day, my back started to hurt and I had to stop and give it a rest. Fortunately, I have already collected a big variety of footage in order to make a three hour long video, with no repeating scenes in it. I was extremely happy with my success and this is still one of my most favourite videos, that I sometimes play at home to create a relaxing atmosphere when I need it. Mountain Meadows

Another trip with a friend to my favourite Central Balkan National Park. This time to film the amazing diversity of wild flowers and record the sounds of crickets and grasshoppers around those mountain meadows. On the few days near the top of the mountain I collected a variety of meadow scenery and close-up footage of the flowers. You can watch my Mountain Meadows video here: https://youtu.be/L6JG_L-PWMA

I also filmed and recorded the trickling waters of a small brook surrounded by flowers and the majestic view of Bulgaria’s tallest waterfall in the background: https://youtu.be/LZPOYiXaRMU

How amazed I was when I saw this field from my car window, driving past it. I immediately turned around, went back and took my camera and tripod out of the boot. I spend the next two days filming and recording in this magnificent field covered with wild flowers and inhabited by a variety of birds happily chirping their spring songs. It was such a healing experience for me, reminding me of the days when I was a child, spending my summers together with my sister at our grandparents’ peaceful villages. Spring Forest

One day I saw an amazing picture, posted by a friend of mine, of a forest floor completely covered in blossoming wild yellow flowers. I thought to myself, that I want to make a video of this place. I immediately wrote to my friend, asking where the place was. She pointed me to a place in the North part of Bulgaria and I quickly prepared myself and left to go there, before it was too late to see this view. When I got to the place, I was very happy to discover the area exactly the way I imagined it. The flowers were still there, densely covering the ground beneath the trees. I filmed a lot of different scenes in the area and recorded the song of the birds inhabiting it, which, as it was the middle of spring, were all quite actively singing.
